Technical Writer Contract

As the Technical Writer, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation  

Responsibilities  

• Create and maintain technical customer documentation, online help, and Knowledge Base articles for the organization’s software products
• Translates technical and/or complicated information into clear, concise documents 
• Maintain the documentation repository for all Engineering department documentation and restructure
• Help implement innovative methods to document and make available product info
• Locate and report any product defects found during documentation authoring and testing
• Provide daily documentation status

Requirements:   

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing
• Expert-level experience with Madcap Flare authoring and management tool
• Experience using Robohelp authoring tool
• Demonstrated ability to migrate Robohelp projects into Flare.
• Skilled in translating technology into user documentation and product Help
• Experience using a problem management or issue tracking system (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred
