Dan Jones

Dan has extensive experience in staffing and recruitment. His success with a large national staffing firm over the past decade and experience working in multiple verticals have given him a broad perspective on the industry. Dan built IT Resources Corp on the belief that staffing companies should do much more for their clients than simply pass along resumes. He believes in providing companies with well-screened, quality candidates, while providing candidates with sound career guidance and rewarding job opportunities.

Dan's work within the recruitment industry has ranged from recruiting to sales to the establishment of a successful full-service staffing organization. He has worked with several clients on establishing technical job criteria, soft skill demands and management of multiple contractor projects. He has managed accounts and recruited primarily in information technology, telecommunications and sales. Dan's dedication and achievement have resulted in significant long-term working relationships with clients.

Before entering the staffing field, Dan had a career in baseball. He competed on the collegiate level at Northwestern University before being drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the second round of the 1991 Major League Baseball draft. He played within the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system for five years.

Dan earned All-Big Ten honors in baseball while working on his bachelor's degree in economics from Northwestern University. He also completed an MBA at the University of South Florida in 2005, with concentrations in MIS and entrepreneurship.
